ok i have a few question maybe someone can answer for me. if a 02 sensor goes bad will it cause a cel light to go off? the reason im asking is because right now i am running a maft and safc2 and when i go over about 5k it almost bogs or hits a limiter someone told me a bad 02 sensor could do this i was wondering if this were true

If your o2 sensor craps out completely then the ecu will throw a code. As for the car bogging it almost sounds like your getting fuel cut? are you modded? Also do you have a logger?

A bad O2 can set a code, but it sounds like you may have other issues. The ECU completely ignores the O2 sensor when in open loop (during WOT and warmup, for instance) and the car runs just fine.

when the car gets at wot at 5k goes to 9s for a/f ratio could a boost leak cause that? the last time i checked i had no leaks and it was still doing this i cant figure out why its going so pig rich all the sudden any input would be great.

i checked my 02 sensor once it the tip inside the 02 hosuing was white should it be this color?
