ecu differences

so my ecu took a poop was lookin and found what the guy called a jdm ecu i know its from japan what i want to know is what is the difference is there any??? and is there a difference from a awd ecu to a fwd ecu??? anything would help thanks

I have a 1st gen that i did the jdm motor swap too and it came with the jdm ecu. I used the factory ecu that was already on my car and everything worked fine. And thanks for the reply to my post man i appreciate it so i thought i would try n help you out
