I am about to purchase a 16g Turbo for my 1G Is there anything else I need to do also or can it handle the turbo stock...

Well the car right now isnt stock really. i'm almost pushing between 280 and 300 hp. I have upgraded fuel injectors, cold air intake and MAF Sensor full 3in" exhuast all the way back from headers and a few other upgrades. I can easlie boost at 20 psi with no problem right now... Well my boost gauge and get up to 20psi easily then after 20 my blow off value goes off.So what are you talking about rewiring??

Please fill out your vehicle profile. What size injectors are you using? What are you tuning with? Do you have a wideband that agrees that you are boosting 20psi with no problems? Stock fuel pump can't supply much more than stock performance. With the performance figures you claim, you're taking a pretty risky road. Rewiring is usually done to an aftermarket fuel pump to ensure a steady supply of voltage, since most pumps' output fluctuates with the amount of voltage they get (which changes depending on how many electrical systems you have running on your car; radio, blinkers, headlights, ect).

I'm new to all this as you can tell how do you actually know what your boosting. I know that When I jump on it my guage gets up to 20 psi with no problem but if I go past 20 then it then my blow off valve releases

Stop asking questions and fill out your profile instead.;) Many of the answers to your questions depend on an accurate profile, in particular, your upgrades.

If you're new to this then how do you know how much power your car is making? Also if your new to this then I recommend setting boost to a safer level (say 13) and learn what you're doing before you blow anything up.

Be sure to know what power your car is making then decide on what you need to do. But an aftermarket fuel pump will work (especially if your car is modded already), and maybe new intercooling piping if you still got the side mount, or even just buy a front mount. Make sure you got a good fuel pressure regulator too.:dsm:
