I have been reading a lot of these threads and lots of them have a lot of different answers to peoples questions about which injectors to get. I eventually will be running a evoIII big16g or a 20g which i will run around 19-20 psi. I need some solid answers from people, thanks!

If I were you, I would get 550cc injectors for that setup. With those and a pump upgrade, you will get the max potential of that turbo. But, if you do plan on upgrading turbos in the future and have a good tuning device(ie, Dsmlink, AEM EMS), I would go to 1000cc injectors. FIC is a great brand, I would also look at RC or Greddy. FIC has good prices and a great reputation.

What we need to know are your personal concerns, budget, capabilites and future plans.

Depends on:

1. What tuning capabilities you have or are planning to have.
2. If you plan on staying with whatever you buy for the rest of your vehicle's life.

Well, i will be shooting for around 350 hp. I dont wan huge injectors, but i dont want small ones either.

If you plan on going dsmlink, I would go with 1150cc's or larger. You will have to get a pump to supply them but thats ok. That way if you have e85 in your area you can be ready to swap without buying more parts. With e85 your 350whp goal will be easy on a 16g. On pump gas its a fight to get that power.

I would suggest going with nothing smaller than 720cc then. And at that point, you'll need to get something like DSMlink because an S-AFC won't be able to control them. If you go with DSMlink, just buy the largest injectors you can afford (up to/including 1150cc) so that you never have to upgrade again.

Thats seems like to much for what i will be trying to do.

What are you going to be tuning with. If you just want to make around 350whp then I would go with FIC 650's because they will support up to 400whp easily and go with the evo3 turbo. I don't really see a point in a 20g turbo to be honest with you. The reason I say go with FIC injectors is because they are underrated in how much they flow. They actually flow around 680cc. So you'll be fine with those. I would say go with a translator setup with your afc. DSM link is nice but I don't think you really need to go that far with it yet.

I will probably go with apexi, dsm is not something i will be needing.

For your 350 whp goal anything above 650cc injectors should work for regular gas or race gas. If you plan on running straight E85 in the future, then I would look at 850's and above.

It all comes down to what you want to spend, but there are usually some ~1000cc injectors floating around the classifieds for 250 or less.

Honestly, i never even thought of running e85 so i wont be running that. I will be running 93 octane gas for my usual

I would go with some sort of 620-650 injector along with a 255lph fuel pump and fuel pump rewire cause your going to need and a afpr then of course you going to need some way of controlling your new fuel, the 350hp that you have in mind can be done with the Safc and maf T , you might wanna look at the B16G or the EvoIII B16g both of these can get you were you wanna be for less $ than a 20g And of course this is just my .02

If you plan on running the super afc II, you should also get a wideband o2 sensor and a dataloger for proper tuning. That is the whole reason why getting Dsmlink is a better idea. The downside for you is that you will need to by a 95 eprom ecu($300) plus Dsmlink ($550(?)). The plus side is more tuning features and it is user friendly. You may pay alittle bit more for the Dsmlink setup but, you get a bit more features with it. But, it is entirely up to you. If I were you, I would call up Robert Ramirez at RRE (562) 777-1522. He usually doesn't come in until 2pm but, he will give you the best advice on what you are trying to do.

Yeah, that probably sounds like the best idea. So i will probably go with the dsmlink. Plus, who knows, i may want to get up to 400hp. I just dont know just yet.

Ok. Give Robert a call tomorrow and tell him what your plans are and he will give you prefect advice on what to do and how to go about it. Take your time with what your doing and spend your money wisely.

E85 you want to run at least 30% larger injectors that you would run on pump gas. You need a fuel pump that can supply enough fuel, the 255lph seems to be good up to 400whp on e85. You also want to replace the stock fuel filter becuase it is paper, but all the other fuel lines should be ok.

you can get more then 400whp with a 20g with 1000cc injectors and dsmlink. i would find a used big 16g or a evoIII, get some evo 8 560cc injectors. they flow closer to 590-600 and with that get a safc I or II. ones are cheaper so if your on a budget get a safcI

If you are going with safc, 650s are the largest injectors you can use. Any bigger and there will be too much "lying" to the ECU. If you want dsmlink, you can run any size injector you want. Might as well go huge since the price difference for injectors isn't that big. You'll also have an easier time reaching your power goals. 16Gs are a stretch to hit 350hp. 20G is more appropriate but for the price you might as well go for a plain jane 50 trim which will do better. Keep in mind that for any setup you will need other fuel mods like a pump and maybe an adjustable fpr. Also highly recommended for a good tune is a wideband 02.
