Rough Idle..

So this just started happening recently after I installed my boost gauge. I would have a slight problem starting the car and it would idle roughly 400-500 RPM sometimes even lower and after about 5 seconds maybe, the car goes back up and idles fine; this happens almost every start up. I'm thinking that it might just be a pinch in my hose (there's a slight pinch or two) for the boost gauge. any suggestions?

A pinch on the way to the boost gauge wouldn't really affect anything. Look for a leak where you tee'd in. Maybe your hose to the gauge has a crack. Mine has a spot near the end that looked stressed (it was white , but the hose was clear) so I cut it out. Maybe you have a spot like that that split.

just a little crack would cause the car to have a rough idle? question is: if it has a rough idle, wouldn't it drive a little weird too?
