this is in ref: 90 GSX
First of all I spent few days search the forums and reading. Unfortunately the threads is so confusing.
OK At first the car is running fine and decided to replace all the exhaust valves. Put the rebuild head back on and the car will not start. 160 PSI compression all across cylinder and timing is dead on. There's no fuel and no spark. However there's fuel in the fuel rail and but the injectors didn't fire. Check MPI and it check out ok. Unplug the CAS plug check the red wire has 12v and the ground wire is good. The other two (yellow/white) wires has 4.8/5v. Now I plug the CAS wires back and remove the CAS from the head. Turn on the ignition, spin the CAS by hand and I don't see the spark or hear the injectors click. Does this mean CAS is DEAD? As I stated the car start normally prior to the rebuild. HOWEVER I think by wash the CAS by spraying engine degreaser and wash it out with water hose.
Could the washing be the reason the CAS is dead or assume dead?
