I bought a used safc2 from a friend and it had the common problem where the screen was blank even when the unit was getting power.. I started checking the connector inside to find it hadn't moved at all, so after further diagnosis i noticed one small diode not really straight the way it should be.. I repositioned it where it should be, hooked it back up and BINGO, screen powered up without any problems. So i got out a fine point low temperature soldering iron and soldered it back to the board and then double checked. Still works....

The arrow points to the side I had to solder. hope this may help someone else.
