1g TURBO ROD QUESTION!

Does anyone know what the identification numbers are on the side of the rods for 1g BIG rods. I bought some "1G big rods" and had them machined. The numbers on my original rods do not match up with the ones on the new ones. So with that said does anyone know if the letters on the sides have to match? They look the same just the numbers dont match.

The rod I bought says G6.N and the rods I have from my 91 6bolt are G6.Z are they the same thing? They look identical...

I called the machine shop and had him micro the rod and with the rod letters facing up(believe he did this in the middle of the rod above letters) It measured .860" and with the rod sideways he measured the diameter of the center and it was .600" If that helps

Take both rods to the machine shop and have him micro both rods to see what the difference is. From there you should be able to determine if it will work or not, also check the length of the rod to make sure you wont slam into the valves.
