I need to replace the inner seal on my driver side front wheel bearing because it has completely come apart. I discovered the problem about 200 miles ago but didn't have the time to replace it. Now I have grease all over everything and it needs to be taken care of.

Can I just replace the seal? I think the bearing is OK.

Can I repack or stuff some grease in there to get me by?

I realise replacing the entire hub is the best thing to do, but cash is short.

Any idea on costs of these needed parts; just bearings, all seals, in tire hub ($110 to $360)?

Thanks
