OEM parts

I always see in threads to go with oem parts on certain components. For example, water pump, oil fron case/oil pump, t belt etc... Then I see people picking up "oem water pumps" from like prostreetonline.com for $59. I go to my local mistu dealer with a discount I pay $115 for a water pump. Are these parts from this online vendor really same as oem parts, or are they aftermarket oem like replacements. Reason I ask is I just spent over $438 before taxes on bs eliminating cap, oil shaft stub for bs, front case gear 1 and gear 2, oil front case assembly with oil pump, t belt, auto tensioner,front case gasket, oil housing gasket. This is with a supposably 20% discount. I'm starting to think do I need to return all this stuff if I can get a water pump for half the price I am going to pay if they exactly the same. What do you guys think? am I paying way more than I should for parts that come from the dealer. Are these supposably oem replacements from these places really last as long and as reliable as oem one from dealer. Thanks.

If you get parts straight from the dealer they will be expensive as hell. You can get true OEM parts from different websites for cheaper.

Take a look at this site. It is a Mitsubishi dealer in TX that sells OEM parts. They have the best pricing that I've seen. Just do a multiple part number search, punch in all the part numbers and see what they total. Then add a bit for shipping and see if it'd be worth it to get it online. Chances are, it probably will be.

The link you provided is actual oem parts. I'm wondering about some vendors selling like gmb water pump, japan oem water pump that isn't necessarily "oem" md part numbers. Are these type of parts worth getting? Actually after checking part numbers, what I paid for each of my parts about the same price.

Mentor Mitsubishi out here in Cleveland has pretty decent part's prices.

I haven't dealt with jnz yet(very soon), But I've heard only great things about them. I've seen ALOT of their listing for oem parts and are much cheaper then the dealership
