'90 DSM dampner on a 2nd gen. car?

I have a friend that had his '97 harmonic AWD dampner break apart on him. I offered my OEM '90 AWD dampner to him. The two appear slightly different but the bolt pattern is the same. Does anyone know if this switch will work out for me?

It should work with out any problems

There is a difference in weight, 4.8lbs for 1g , 5.6lbs for 2g. That big of a difference in weight could definitely mess with the harmonics and balance of the engine.
