ok i have a 1g fwd and the other day i was going to install a 255 walpro. well, i was taking the little screws out and the gas line that is kind of welded in there broke about 3/4 of a inch from the top.now, the question is there anyway i can put a pc. of fuel line on there and 2 clamps to make this work? or is there to much pressure in that area?

I had a 1g fwd that did the same thing. I used a piece of hose like you're talking about with a hose clamp on each end and it worked fine for me. It started as a "quick fix" that I was going to change later, but I had no problems out of it and just left it like that.
