i have a 2g w/ 1g intake mani and t.b when i start the car it idles really high 3-3500 once it warms up it idles at 600-700 what could be the problem?

First check the throttle cable connection on the back of the intake manifold and make sure its not sticking, and its adjusted properly. Also the fiav in the lower half of the throttle body may be acting up. It can be blocked off if necessary. I would check the throttle cable and clean the throttle body to make sure the plate isnt getting caught on anything. Take the tb elbow off and manually turn the plate so you can see if anything is obstructing it or if you can feel any resistance.

It stands for Fast Idle Air Valve. You can check vfaq.com, I'm pretty sure a how-to is there under the Intake section. If not, then just do a quick search of the forums. Something should definitely come up.
