boost problems help

for some reason i cant build more than 20 psi it spikes to 22 i dont know why i have a gt30r could it be the shitty greddy type-s bov or the turbonetics evolution wastegate ?

Do a boost leak test. What spring(s) are in the wastegate? Do you have a boost controller hooked up?

have not done a boost leak test yet but there are no signs of any leaks, i belive its an 12 psi spring, i have the turbo xs dual stage and for some reson it dosnt seem to work right i get the same amout of boost in both stages no matter what i do

This is a sign of a boost leak. So is your boost controller not changing the boost. I would test it and go from there.

i can lower boost , but the dual stage wanted stage 1 at 17psi and stage 2 at 24psi but both stages keep the same amount of boost 20psi im so confused ill try a boost leak test and see what i come up with

Let us know the results of the test after you fix the leaks. Could be a faulty boost controller also.

yea it could definetly be a faulty boost controler, that happen to me an i replaced it and it works fine now

If you have not a boost leak test do one right away. No point asking around until that is done. Boost leak is the most common cause for all boost related problems. It sure sounds like a sign of a leak if you are not boosting correctly.
