Is putting a n/t head form an automatic on to a 5 speed bad??:confused:Cause if so i might have a problem.I never really researched anything about dsms before i just bought 2 that needed heads and started ripping stuff off.:shhh: My problem is that i may have put an auto head on my 93 n/t which is also a 7 bolt. See i never even looked in the car i took the head form seens how the car had a good engine and a bad tranny.:dsm::D If its a cam thing i still have the cams from the 5 speed i think or at least i hope.

The heads should fit with no problems at all. Believe it or not, the head off a 1.8L Mitsubishi mirage will fit on the 4g63. I have done it before and it ran for a long time with no problems :) I did it just to test it. Be sure to check the head before putting it on. It could be warped and not seal like it should. be sure to also follow the book on how to pull off a head and how to torque one down. You can risk warping the head if you don't do it right.

Wow. That's interesting. Any other info on it?

Solid advice right there.

I always recommend having a shop check out a head before putting it on. I've seen a couple that looked nice and straight when they really weren't. And ya, you should be fine with the cams that are on there now.
