as the thread title says my 92 NT (6 bolt 4g63) when I come to a stop clutch all the way in the engine will just kind of die like I shut the car off. engine will sit and run in neutral but the second it goes into gear or come to a stop it just kind of dies. If I keep throttle on a little it doesnt die. I did the balance shaft removal timed correctly runs fine otherwise and its not throwing any codes either. Any ideas?

You could try and turn the idle up a bit with the biss. This would probably be a temporary fix covering up another issue however. The isc could have gone bad. You can check the coils on it with a multimeter, the instructions are on vfaq.com in the intake section. Have you checked for any vaccum leaks?

hmmm actually... Let me go check something out... and ill get back to you on that in less then half an hour I removed the vacuum lines/ intake tube to get in deeper in the car

Did you figure this out? I'd have to agree with Gstclipse, if you can't figure it out I'd check your BISS to make sure your throttle is adjusted properly, after that check the ISC, send a message back to let us know if you got it figured out or not, hopefully those vacuum lines you're looking at will remedy the issue, good luck

well the vacuum lines came off I put the red and yellow lines back onto the TB but now I cant find the open green line which is m.i.a. and I cant find it... :( so any help where I would be able to find it? I can find the green line and it looks like it runs to the water pump and I just cant seem to find the rest is it come off as a tee somewhere?

also I ran it around the block a couple times when it had cooled off and it didnt do the stalling thing but as soon as it warmed up it started to do it again this time now it stalls in neutral >,<

oh yeah since the cars been ran before it has been as low as -9 F and right now its about 14 F

they have red dashes and yellow dashes on them as far as I know they are stock I.E. they were on the car when I got it theyre typical vacuum lines black rubber they just have little dashes going down them length wise

still havent been able to find the other hose... still doing the same thing. and its again dropped to be to cold to do anything. its now again 0F outside so work and troubleshooting stops on her again

it only does it when it warms up I dunno I might just have to figure this all out when it warms up some its actually quite irritating everytime it warms up enough I go clean the car off pop the hood start looking it starts snowing again and I cant drive it over to my shop and im definately not towing it.

What that guy said earlier about the ISC has a lot of validity. Go to the search and type in Idle Surge. One of those threads explains the problems that are related to idle surge. Stalling goes along with idle surge. It's a typical DSM problem.:talon:

If not found yet the green hose goes down to the EGR valve and connects to the rear most fitting on the TB. The yellow is the first & red the middle.

As a couple others have said check the BISS screw, The Oring on them can dry up and shrink and let the screw ajustment change.
