I have a question about the ISC and the FIAV:

Hey guys, first off I have a 2gb 1997 GST. My problem is that after replacing my ISC several times (ISC's from the junkyard.) I still get that CEL throwing a PO505 or whatever saying Idle Speed Malfunction and idle will never stay dead on 750 RPM.

I cleaned my throttle body and replaced the gaskets, made sure that the oring was in when I installed the ISC's, they all seem alright according to my voltmeter.

After reading a little bit, my vacuum at idle is 15-19 in/hg and when whenever I start the car in sometimes, it would start but the idle wouldn't jump to 1.5k or 2k like how it should but turn on and idle @ around 200 RPM. After I give it gas a bit it would go to 750-950.

I don't start the car by turning the key anymore for its replaced by a push button start and I don't think I have a vacuum leak because what my boost gauge is reading (which is tapped into my FPS.) and my question is:

Will the push button start make the car start up like that?

AND

Will the clogged up FIAV cause the ISC to fail and throw a CEL? Because they share the same exhaust ports but then, the FIAV doesn't have any electrical connections on it so I don't know.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks for reading! :thumb:
