I just did a conversion from a 1.8L Automatic to a 5spd 2.0 Turbo. The Harness in the engine bay is from a 1Ga Automatic. And the Harness in the dash is also a 1Ga. After the swap the turn signals and hazard lights no longer worked. I checked fuses and relays but no luck. I checked all the grounds and all plugs. This thing is a wiring nightmare can anyone help. I don't even want to drive the thing cause of not having turn signals.

Thanks!

When I removed my dash for good I learned that you have to have the hazard button plugged in for the turn signals to work. So either it is not plugged in or the wires that lead to it are cut.

Late replay. Haven't had internet for awhile. The car still does same things. fuses are fine. Turbo harness was used in the dash. and in the engine bay. The harness is an automatic on a manual. The harness also is for Automatic window and such. But the car has manual windows. I don't think that would effect the turn signals though. I have to check the hazard button/plug that might be the problem.

Sorry to bring this post back, but I have a big problem in my 1g talon my turn signals/ hazards wont work. When you turn on either of the turn signals all that happens is the light on gauge clust blinks rapidly, and the turn signal relay buzzes. But when you turn on the hazards the gauge cluster lights both stay on. I'v tried switching the relay, and fuses but nothing. When this whole mess started it blew out my radio fues to so Im not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

I am now having a similar problem as above.

I just swapped to 2gb headlight and bumper (may or may not be related) and last night my turn signals started blinking fast and nothing. I turned the car off and back on and it worked for a second then blew the fuse.
Today I put a replacement fuse in and as soon as i tried the signals it blew again.
I tried a 20amp fuse thinking maybe the new lights had more draw....and it blew right away.

head lights work, high beams work...need to check brake lights and hazards.
could it be the relay or a short or?

Any guidance would be appreciated.
