PTE turbine housing cut divider trick on a 16g question?

Has anyone ever cut the 16g turbine housing betwen the wastegate flaper and the turbine wheel outlet like the PTE one's to get rid of boost creep? Thanks for any info.

I've done it. It does work, but the creep problem can be solved without doing it, by porting the wastegate outlet hole area. I feel that cutting the divider has hurt my power output by affecting the efficiency of the turbo. I have a very peaky looking power curve(DSM Link). Look for posts by Tarantula, he was able to eliminate creep by porting the wastegate hole area.
