2g Pistons And 1g Long Rods????

You don't need to capitalize every word in your sentences. If you're referring to factory 1g rods, they aren't "long rods". All 4g63 rods are the same length, unless you specfically purchase aftermarket long rods and custom pistons to match. A 1g rod 2g piston engine , if built and tuned correctly, could handle 500-550whp.

I would try to keep it under 400whp. After 400, you need to start looking into stronger internals. People have made more power on 1g rods, but finding an engine's mechanical limit usually isn't very much fun. This of course is all depending upon your ability to tune your car, a bad tune and you could fubar those parts with much less power.

Not for nothing, i didnt do that. I dont know why there is a capitalized letter in front of every word. that is weird. But anyways thank you for the info. I was just told today when i purchased the car it had 1g long rods. But i will find out what brand they are. thank you

Yes 1g big rods. People have made over 500whp on stock internals. Even one guy ran two seasons making 550whp and he retired the block since it never blew.

I'm hoping when I do my turbo upgrade to make 450whp on a stock internal block.
