Cracked 2G manifold

Be more specific!!! Do you mean does anyone recommend replacing your cracked manifold with a good stock manifold? If that is the question I think a 2g manifold is an excellent replacement part for you. I would first find out what caused your old one to crack. EXAMPLE: running to much boost to the point where it was glowing orange.

Eh the example is a poor one. The manifold will glow orange under extreme use even with a decent tune.

If you wanted a replacement, and a cheap one. I would recomend the evo gt manifold. It can be found at turbochargers.com. I have never heard a bad report on these. There pretty much a ported evo manifold for 145 dollars.

What do you plan on doing with the car?
If upgrades are in the future, then upgrade the manifold a bit, or if planning to keep stock go to the JY and pull one.

+1

I had one with my 50trim. Worked very well. Great piece and comes tapped for an EGT proble.

A good non-cracked 2g exhaust manifold will supply 350-400hp before it becomes really restrictive. If you have a little bit of time and the tools, may as well port it. Make sure you read how to correctly port the manifold if you do end up porting it.
