Im awaiting my electronic boost controller. I was wondering on my fp18g, if I just capped off the actuator nipple, then it will run whatever boost that actuator is set for? 12-14?

If you cap it off it's going to boost untill the motor blows. Hook it directly to a boost/vacuum source. T it into the factory BOV line, but for gods sake don't cap it off.

Ok, thanks for the warning. What about just leaving it open? The same thing?

The wastegate actuator is the ***ONLY*** thing that can control boost on your turbo. If you cap it off or leave the nipple open, it will never open, and your boost will go as high as physics will let it (usually resulting in fuel cut or a blown motor). The EBC will connect to the WGA somewhere. Read the instructions.:thumb:
