i was told by someone that an act 2100 clutch is going to make it hard to get dyno tuned and make 300 whp.

is there any truth in this?

thanks

Hope this helps!!!!

ACT DSM 2100 Clutch Kit - Talon, Eclipse 90-99

ACTs popular clutch kit for AWDs and FWDs. Perfect for modified FWDs and reasonably modified AWDs. 2100lb. pressure plate and full-face, sprung hub Street disc. Definitely good for holding mid 12-second power (330 ft-lbs of torque) with a much lighter pedal pressure than the 2600. Very streetable...

What does a clutch have to do with a dyno tune and making power? If you have a perfectly good 2100 that doesn't slip, it has nothing to do with tuning/power. A 2100 will hold 300 whp just fine. Whoever told you that, please smack them.

That's exactly what I was going to say. Unless its slipping, the clutch is never going to have an affect on tuning, or dyno runs. Unless I guess the person tuning it is a nancy and cant push the pedal down.
