i have a dejon uicp when i bought it i was using a stock maf sensor.i bought a 3 inch gm maf sensor .Has anyone cut the pipe and converted it?if so any suggestions just cut and use intercooler pipe reducing couplings.

That's about all there is to it - just cut the pipe. I think a 6" gap is enough to fit the maf in there, but don't take my word for it. Measure everything before you cut and remember that you can always cut more off if you need to. You might want to consider beading the ends of the pipe too.

Also, get yourself some quality silicone 2.50" - 3.25" reducer couplers.
