I just bought a 1991 Talon Tsi 5spd fwd. It is very hard to start when you first start in the morning. Most of the time it wont start without starting fluid. Once it warms up it fires right up. But if it sets longer than 3 hours it is very hard to start. Also if it is lower than 2k rpm it will miss real bad when you first give it gas at the light. Im new to the whole dsm thing and dont know where to start. Thanks.

I second the coolant plug. Mine ripped off during hte engine install and before I replaced it. it was doing the same thing.... The ECU thinks that the engine is hot when its really cold and its trying to compensate.
