I don't think it is. If I remember correctly, the AC compressor has a green triangle plug, not a 2 prong like the one pictured. A whacky suggestion could be that it belongs to one of the sensors that are mounted to the firewall.

If this helps at all, the a/c connector is the same as the camshaft angle sensor. 3 prong triangle. I remember this because I got VERY mad when installing my new engine because I couldn’t tell the two apart.

+1 on the sensors mounted to the firewall ^^. If I remember right, it looks like the fpr solenoid.

What does it lead to?

And PS: Looks like time for a new timing belt!

It isnt the AC plug as it is already plugged in. It could be the EGR actuator but I am not sure. This comes off the harness directly over the ignition coil. Coming out of the same place is injector #1, A/C, and Coil plugs. The Timing belt has less then a mile on it. as does most of the motor.

It's the evap emission purge solenoid valve connector. Solenoid is (or maybe was in your case) 4" lower than the drivers side end of the intake manifold.

That is what I was thinking after looking at the engine wiring diagram for a while. What are the downfalls of not having this hooked up anymore? I have removed all of the emmissions and blocked the egr. Do I need this hooked up? I ask because it looks like it fell out of the motor somewhere.

You're right, i was thinking 1g... AGAIN!!! I need to stop this shit..LOL. That is the AVAP wire on a 2g.

It will throw a CEL. It wont affect anything negatively, just annoy the piss out of you with the CEL in your face all the time. If you ever get DSM link you can turn it off. Just zip tie it off somehwere so its oout of the way.
