no start

My car does not start. can anybody help me, i alredy checked the batt and its 12v, the alternator is 14 volts, and the engine fuse is ok....the car only turns on when i put jumper cables to it...does anybody know what else it can be.

are you getting spark and fuel? also, it could possibly be that you have no ground on the battery, check your connections, make sure you have continuity.
