yesterday i dropped a wrench and to my luck it hits the neg and pos post at the same time. what happens now is i can only jump start the car and if i take the cables off for being jumped the car sputters and dies right away. if i put the key in the ignition it doesnt beep or the radio, vent, windows or headlights dont flip up either. what did i do? please help quick

It sounds like you destroyed your battery. If you have a multimeter/voltmeter check voltage. If you don't have one then remove the battery from the car and take it to an auto parts store and they will check it for you. You will likely need to replace it anyway.

Holy crap.. thats dangerous... Your lucky the wrench didn't glow red hot and cause the battery to explode.. I've had a car battery blow up on me, and I can tell you first hand they go off like a pipe bomb.. I had to get plastic casing removed from my arms.. Check it with a meter, but I'm guessing it's dead..

ok it keeps blowing 80A fuses I stuck tinfoil in there to see what would happen and it started to glow red so i took it off! i did just put a new alternator on and havnt driven it yet so do you thik there is a short or something? im really confused

Stop trying stupid stuff like bypassing fuses. Just pull a battery from another car in you driveway or borrow a friends. It only takes a minute to swap a battery. Check all your main fuses and see if it will start then.

battery is a optima yellowtop its fine. turned out the alternator cable on the alternator was touching the alternator and grounded out causing it to blow the 80a fuse constantly. wrapped it up good in electrical tape and it is fixed. thanks for the help

Just be happy the wrench hit the positive and negative terminals. The time my wrench dropped accidentaly it hit the positive terminal and the computer next to the battery. Thankfully after unplugging it and plugging it back in the next day the car started.
