is there any way to make a turbo meet emissions, is ther a turbo back exhaust that has a cat? what will i need to do to make my dsm make emissions wiht a turbo up grade?

You need to go to an exhaust shop (or do it yourself if you can) buy a catalytic converter and cut your down pipe where the cat should go. Buy a couple band clamps (not U clamps, they will crush your exhaust and you wont be able to do the rest of this) and clamp up the cat. that way you can easily take it back off and clamp on a straight pipe when you are done. I had this done to my car and it worked just fine and my car is fairly modified.

What turbo are you trying to use? Most turbos will meet emissions because when they test your car your turbo isnt boosting.

im not sure yet, im planning on a bigger turbo, i jus needed to know this stuff before i did the work. but on awd they rev the engine to 2500 i think it is, they cant dyno iti guess. but im pretty sure itll be a big turbo that wont spool until after that, but im not sure yet.
