i need a 1g in a 2g wire harness from magnus

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

If it doesn't have to be Magnus specifically (aka: just need the CAS adapter harness), then RRE sells them as well.

Kinda makes sense that you wouldn't be able to get ahold of anybody, on a holiday weekend, much less in the middle of the night. Relax until Monday at the very least (or at least until 8am PST, since today *is* Monday, and I have no idea where their shop is located).

Why not just wire it up yourself? 1g cas in 2g 97-99

Because chopping into your stock wiring harness when there is a plug-and-play adapter available for relatively cheap is more than a little... well... stupid. Especially if the one doing the chopping might not have experience soldering splices.

i am experienced with splicing and electronics but with a plug and play harness for cheap i might as well just do that that way incase i decide to go back to stock 7 bolt when i sell the car all i have to do is unplug the harness

i did find the part on the rre site. but are the rre and the magnus the same?

No idea how they compare; I wired up my own after the "plug & play" adapter I bought had the wrong connectors on it for my wiring harness! :( So much for trying to save time & effort; seems to me better to do it right yourself than have to do it over because of someone else's mistake (being impatient didn't hurt, either:rolleyes:). BTW, the one I was doing was for my daughter's 95 Talon & a 1G 7 bolt swap... wired up without any trouble after giving up on the "easy" way.

Call RRE, they will have you one in a week. They are great too, mesh wire casing, professionally done. Worth every penny.

i got mine from magnus a few weeks ago and i called during business hours and they answered and were very helpful. also i called back and checked on shipping and they were helpful. do u call when the open it shouldn't be so hard to get magnus on the phone. But it takes awhile to get to you because they ship canada post.

Ah, thought you had already called RRE. Was just over there earlier (checking my tranny/t-case/rear diff fluids) and they do have them in stock. They make solid parts, and ship quick (usually mailed out same-day before 4pm, when UPS shows up) for distance orders.
