Hey guys, I just bought a 91 TSI AWD. It has an oil leak at the turbo return line, and doesn't appear to be all that bad, the only time you notice smoke is after the car is stopped. I was wondering if I could get it safely home like this(the drive is mostly interstate, about 150 miles. Could I just take some oil up with me and stop a few time along the way and make sure its o.k. on oil?Towing is a last resort, because the only vehicle capable of towing is my brothers GMC jimmy which "doesn't weight enough" according to u-haul. Must because of this
*Edit* I dunno why i didn't think of this before posting, I could just replace it before driving down. So I'll call around the Chrysler dealerships and see if they have one tomorrow, but if they don't, would it be safe?

Anyway, instead of buying a pipe, bring a 5/8" ID heater hose about 3-4" long and couple clamps and cut the leaky section and put the hose over it.... easy almost free fix. The previous owner told me it kept on cracking even after he put a new one on. I then later found the cause to be a very loose turbo, 1 of the bolts was gone, the remaining 3 were very loose which caused the return line to crack from the vibrations. Honestly Id just drive it home and pack a qt of oil unless its pouring out.
