broken lock mechanism?

my driver's side door cant be opened by the key now.. so everytime i open it, i have to key-open it in the passenger side and then go around again since it power-unlocks both sides >_<; is there a fix to this?

guess I have to invest in one of those car starter/unlockers haha..

You need to remove your door panel and check to see if the rods are still hooked up.

well inspect for damaged parts, but most of the time like nc90awd stated, it can be as stupid as a metal rod not connected. but to make you feel better, mine dosnt even lock! haah! pshhhh locks are overrated

does the key still turn in the lock cylinder?
