Hello,
I recently replaced my rear pads and rotors on my 97 GST. Everything seemed to go well, except for a very tight fit on the passenger side as far as the pads/caliper fitting over the rotor. Turns out the caliper bracket won't slide on the locking alignment pin (or the top pin on the passenger side).
The other guide pin came out fairly easily from the assembly and I was able to lube it up with new grease and re-install it. Do they both un-screw the same way? I tried to loosen the other one, and it wouldn't budge. I tried WD-40 and a breaker bar, but to no avail.
IS this the same situation being talked about in this thread?

I bought some PB Blaster and have done a little spraying with that, but will have to wait until morning to try again.
Thanks for the help!
