1G Control Arms

I just recently discovered that my left front control arm has a extra hole rusted in it. What I was wondering is what control arms will fit it? Does it have to be AWD? Or will one out a FWD fit it?

I harvested the front arm out of my FWD and slapped into the AWD no problem. So long as it's the FRONT control arm, there shouldn't be an issue, it's the rears that are different.

Front control arms for both turbo cars are the same. Rears are different. Front control arms are different on non turbo's as well.

So as long as its front a turbo car its the same? I have a 1.8 non-turbo parts car but its dark when I get home from work and I havnt been able to look at it. Now I guess I gotta find one. I was just planning on using it.

I got one today off of a 93 Talon from the local U-Pull it. After I got it off I found a really clean Mitsu Galant. It uses the same control arms. I might go back after them the look immaculant. Thanks for the replies!!

The 1.8 and the 2.0 control arms are different. I found this out the hard way when i had to get a new one for my 2.0

Yep, unfortunately they are different, but usually aren't too pricey from a salvage yard. I was walking through a nearby yard with the guy who co-owns the place and he said he'd let me have both for 50 if I pull them, and they were in really nice condition, off a freshly tree'd car. (tree fell on back end, I felt bad, it was in really nice condition).

I got mine for $12. They have a $2 core but good thing I took my old one. Not to bad of shape just need cleaned and painted. Should have bought the pair off the Galant but it sittin on the ground with no tires, so I will have to get them to pick it up with the front end loader.
