I know the motor mount bracket needs "trimming".

I have a 45* fitting and the normal straight fitting, which one did you put where?

and how long should the hose be between the fittings?

this has been a major pain , any help is appreciated

Put the 45 on the turbo. so you might not have to trim the motor mount. I went to a hydraulic shop and out the correct size hydraulic grade hose for oil and heat then just clamped them on to the fitting. worked good. I think im going to redo it someday but its been working fine for months now.

edit. i dont think the line was over 12 inches just get a foot of it and trim it to size. actually probably closer to 6 inches, but thats just a guess.

I have my 45 on the turbo also and the is no kinks in the line, 7 1/2 inches of -10 with a 45 on the turbo and straight on the Pan.

Most usually use the 45 on the turbo and the straight fitting on the oil pan. I've eye-balled it and it looks like 2 45's would be the most accomodating, especially with the SS -10an lines. Are you using SS or pushlock? Either way, doing a return line is always a PITA. Goodluck.

I recieved the SBR 50-trim install kit (-10an quick fit, not braided), it included a 45 degree and a straight... I threw away the straight -10an fitting and purchased another 45 degree. The two 45's are a much better solution in my opinion.
