i searched and found alot on tow dollys but nothing on 4 wheel towing, im looking to tow my 90 awd about 6 miles using tow straps. is this ok

i figure it should be let me know

Lol you'll be fine, i found this out when my tranny exploded while i was driving.. :| ended up pushin it two miles to my dorms. And now im gonna tow it the same way your talking about to a garage about a mile away.

my car has spent half of its life with a tow strap on the front...... not something I am proud of but.....

I towed a 97 gst form upper new hampshire to upper RI. it was about 5 hours on a flat style tralier with a strap in the front and one in the back... you'll be fine..

only thing is if you have the kind where the ramps fold up. PUT BLANKETS AROUND THE RAMPS... i made the mistake of thinking it was find and little by little the var mover back and the ramp ended up hitting the high rise wing and taking out a nice chunk. also hit the edge of the hatch....

There's no mention of a trailer here.

Yes, you can flat-tow, all four wheels on the ground, just fine. Watch out for the strap to do damage to the bodywork when it snatches. Or, pay the $200 for a flatbed/slideback/centerfold tow truck, like in all the pictures on this site.

Or pay half that for an AAA membership.
