dsmchip install question

I bouhgt a chip from dsmchips and im not sure im putting it in right. Has anyone installed one before? I matched the groves up and I had to bend the tads a little but after pushing it a=down there is still a little gap between the bottom of the chip and the socket. It feels like it is far as it goes but i dont know. Is it supposed to go all the way down?

As long as all the tabs are making a good solid connection I don't see an issue. You'll have a small gap. Here is a pic of my old chip.

Hey no problem, I prefer the chip over link for now. I don't plan on changing my tuning setup untill I change my current turbo setup (and which I plan to get a mid to high 11 out of it) . Let me know how you like the chip if you don't mind

Make sure the notch on the chip is on the same side as the notch on the socket......

It looks like were both in the same boat. Mine has been in the garage since I bought it. I gaot my block O-ringed and new mahnle pistons, and rods. My friend makes 720 awhp on his set up and all he uses is maft,saf, and dsmchips.

Of course we are, we own DSM's

I have yet to even start the car because of 1 dry rotted lower injector seals
I did a boost leak test and only got about 2-3 psi build up because of the darn seal. I'd love to be able to get it out and put a few miles on it before winter but idk.
