Anyone know if I can put the stock headlight bulbs in an aftermarket halo headlight? I'm thinking about getting new headlights cause the person who owned the car before me sprayed a clear coat on them and now it's fading, I have new clue how to take the fading clear coat off. When I bought the car I bought the silverstar Ultras which cost me like $55.00 and I want to know if I can put those in one of those halo headlight on ebay. I emailed a few sellers but I have not received an answer yet.

awww damn, they don't even make h1 or h3 in ultras. anyone know how bright the halo projector lights are? or if anything, does anyone have any pics of them at night?

mg89, I'm sorry to be an ass but seriously common? What are the rules of this web forum, did you even read? Or did you do like everyone else and just start posting once you made your account?

IF you would have searched, you would have found your answer. Even if you put silverstar ultra bulbs inside a piece of shit ebay projector beam, no matter how bright it is or could be, your nearest flashlight is brighter and covers more ground!

If you want 9006 Projectors, you will have to build them. Buy ebay projectors, install some Hyundai 9006 Projector housings inside and use your silverstar ultra bulbs.

Oh darn, my bad. What a waste of a post on my part. Just thought I'd ask those questions in this thread since I was already asking about the halos in my first post.

As mentioned, most of these questions have already been answered, especially the questions about what bulbs come in projector headlights and how bright they are.

For the record, my projector low-beams with Silverstars in them are just fine for city driving. The projectors' hi-beams, which aren't projectors, are actually brighter than the stock hi-beams. About six years ago, I paid $250 on ebay for my projector headlights. Prices have dropped since then, and it's quite probable that quality has dropped as well.
