Well I'm rebuilding my 4g63t I have in it now not worth buying a used 4g63t now I'm wondering anyone know how good topline brand is becuase a full engine rebuild kit is pretty cheap and if its not a good brand then what would be a good brand.

what brands have you heard of regarding rebuild kits?

Topline makes most rebuild parts for DSMs such as oil pumps, 3g lefters and what not. I have no problem with using them at all.

I would go OEM Mits for a rebuild "kit".

Topline is a OEM replacement marketer, they are reputable for OEM spec. rebuilt kits. If you were going for a fully built motor there's better combinations you can go with. But if your just looking to do a simple re-build, Topline is a good brand.

well what happened is the main bearings spun and right now I'm pulling the block apart to see what happened when they did spin hopefully not too bad please pray for me. but what other rebuild kits do you recommend?

are you planing on buliding the car up, or just stayin pretty mild bulid? if you do plan on bulding it you might aswell get some good parts, tho topline is good but as metioned above not for a high hp motor. you could always go with clevite bearings and arp hardware depending on how much you do wanna spend, just remeber use oem timing belt parts and oil pump. i say this becase i had a friend that had a topline oil pump that the gears exploded after 3k miles. iam not sure if it was just a messed up one or not i dont kno. it would all matter on what your planing on doing with the car.

Well I wanted to make it a little faster then stock bigger turbo like a T-28 and some odds and ends like that but I will keep that in mind about the oil pump thanks. I'm getting a bigger turbo because the stock turbo has too much shaft play inside and needs to be rebuilt anyway. Pretty much I just want this car to sound mean have a little power with those wheels and scare some little honda civics on the berlin turnpike in CT...LOL
