Also, the 1G 'bov' is a CBV. Meaning it's open under vacuum, as well as on a boosting throttle plate closure event. Meaning venting it is a VERY BAD idea, if you're considering it, as it'll suck in unfiltered and unMETERED air, making you run stupidly lean and probably knock/detonate, or at least run like utter poop.

Hard pipes work. Imagine letting air out of a compressor, and you've got what it sounds like. It doesn't chirp, it doesn't whistle. Just 'ksssssss'. If you want to hear it loudest, get a metal UICP, a metal intake, and fabricate a metal recirculation tube. Oh, and remove the star silencer from the back of the MAS, too. Plenty loud then.
 
Exactly how mine sounds recirculated. Definitely a lot louder not recirculated. I love it. :)
