Hello there fellow dsmers. So last night i went for a cruise in my dsm and came to stop at a stop sign and went to take of and it just locked up, there was no knocking nothing. The engine just seized up on me. I took off the valve cover and from what i can see the valves are fine, I pulled the plugs and they are clean with no damage. What kind of damage could my bottom end have? I wont be able to tear it apart till monday as im leaving for the weekend to kentucky. It is a 1g 6bolt and i wasnt boosting it at all yet. Thanks guys!

Well, with that amount of info there is not much anyone will be able to tell you.

You just need to take a look. Beer will help the process (assuming you find something wrong.)

The timming belt is in perfect shape. The engine only had around 10,000 Miles on it. Tomarow im contacting the shop that built the engine and see what all they say. Im just not too happy over it all Its my DD and my only form of transportation right now so im hopeing that its not gonna cost tooo much. But thanks guys
