would you bid on this turbo...help!!

It's a direct bolt on and assuming the seller's description of the turbo is correct then it sounds good. I thought you were considering a 16g?

ep, just watch out for those ebay turbos. I have that same one, its pushing full (15PSI) at 3100 and holds 14 till redline but that's cause I didn't adjust my wasegate. I'm waiting until I get dsmlink, pump, & injectors to pump it up.

I just e-mailed the seller and this is what else he told me:
"It was on the car when I bought it, but it was only on for a year and the car was down for tranny problems for half of the year. I drove on it maybe 500 miles as I just got back off of a deployment. I'd say a fair guess would be 6kish. What I can tell you is it has no shaft play, spools fast, builds great boost and doesn't leak a drop of coolant or oil. As for porting I am unsure but I'll be able to let you know tomarrow when I remove it from the car. I have run 20psi max on this turbo but keep in mind that I'm currently stationed in New Mexico and I'm at 4500ft. The air is less dense and so it is easier on the turbo. Any more questions feel free to ask, thanks. -Nick-"

Would it also be a good idea, if I won it, to have it checked out by some turbo experts?
