Is it okay to use a cam from a 1G and a 2G?

Ok I know the 1st and 2nd gen cams are a little different. My question is is it okay to use my 1G intake cam and use a 2G exhaust cam or should I use both cams from the 2G. Thanks Travis

You can use either one...Some people will actaully swap out for a non-turbo cam too.

The differences would be minimal but you can swap the cams. The 1g cams have a little more lift than 2g cams.

Thanks for the replies but where I was going is that I have my stock 1G intake cam in the head and I have a set of stock 2G cams. Is it ok to mixmatch or should I put both 2G cams in. The reason is that my stock exhaust cam decided to do a little wobble with the cam gear and it actually screwed up the end of the cam.

Yes, go with whatever cam you want on whichever side.
