I see people selling cylinder heads off of gs eclipses and claiming they'll fit any turbo application. I didn't know if this were true. The only thing thta I could think that would be different would be the cams. Does n e one know if the cylinder heads are exactly the same or not?
thank you

Same..-all 4g63 gs and gst heads are the same- ive missmatched so many heads..

We didnt get that 420a rubbish over here so.. just make sure its a 4g63 head.

Just make sure you are matching a 6 bolt to a 6 bolt,and a 7 bolt to a 7 bolt.
Sure you can get a 6 to work on a 7.. but theres work involved.
Only the 4g93 16v head is slightly different-it..works tooand you get more compression

Note:the 4g93 16v until the 1995 year..after that theye the other way around like the evo 4-9) ..works too(you get more compression)

OMG WTF :tease: :nono:

hahaha
im frm the land of JDM's , just to correct something over here
4G93 16V n/a and also the 4G93T 16V head do not fit the 4g6X series
4G93's head can be mated with 4G91 , 4G92 , 4G92 mivec
the most superior hybrid of the 4G9X series is the 4G93T Bottom End + 4G92 Mivec Head
in other words Turbocharged Mivec 1.8.

if the 4G9X series heads can match with the 4G63's blocks , there would long time be a Mivec Turbo 4G63.

so stop the bullshit , you cant match a 4G9X head into a 4G6X
are you sure u got more compression haha :nono: , also do know 4G9X series have a smaller cam pulley compared to the evo

Ok, the same doubt on engine 4g63 turbo, as we got here a cylinder head G6K (turbo), is it the same of G6S (non turbo), my 4g63 is a turbo with a t25 garret .................................

Can I use this 4g63 g6s cylinder head in it?
