montreal,
ok on my wideband its reading 10.0 at full throttle and 10.7 on idle and sometimes on about more than half throttle it reads 13.4 can anyone explain why im getting these crappy numbers?

Your vehicle is running very rich. If you have upgraded your fuel system you will need something to control your fuel like DSMlink or an AFC. But you are running way way to rich. You want your afr to be at 14.7 at idle.

nope i havent done one yet ill try today or tomorow but can a boost leak make you run that rich? also whats the leanest u can go at full throttle and at cruising (to be safe)?

If it's big enough. Since it's already accounted for that air, the ECU is calculating how much fuel to put in. If that air is being leaked out somewhere, the ECU is not fixing its calculations and is still putting in a bunch of fuel, even though you're losing some of the air.

it could be...... unplug the vacuum from it and see if the car has better numbers....don't run it long though because compressor surge can do some damage to the turbo or the spring might be too weak for the amount of boost you are running......might as well just get a real bov while your at it

when your saying dont run it too much ,how much do u actually mean like 30 sec or 30 min and can i boost the car like i am now 14psi like go to 5k rpm??

I believe he meant don't keep that bov on the car to long and to replace it. Is your bov recirculated or venting to the atmosphere. If it not recirculated it could also be causeing you problems.

Vacuum leaks won't make you run rich at idle. Most things I can think of being commonly wrong would make you run lean at idle. I don't really know what to suggest. Check fuel pressure and make sure your MAS is working properly (maybe try swapping another one). Also check that your oxygen sensor works properly. You can do all this with a datalogger. A bad oxygen sensor won't make you run rich at WOT but the car normally runs pretty rich at WOT anyway. A bad oxygen sensor would make you run rich at idle though.

Yep cause a leak at idle means it is ingesting unmetered air over oxygenating your mixture. Unplug your MAF, if it goes rich your MAS that could be to blame.
