Everyone always says T3 spools quicker, makes more power, etc etc

As compared to the Mitsu housings. But does that also hold true when compared to the FP30 line? I know a lot of research has gone into developing those setups and i'm trying to decide whether it would be worth it to convert to T3 or not since i'm about to go with a new turbo setup :sneaky:

The FP exhaust housing has been measured to be somewhere in the ball park equivelence of a .63 T3 housing, I think I saw a sheet somewhere where it was a break down of differences between the 3065 Vs the 35R and it actually said .70 A/R exhaust.... It flows damn well for a bolt on.... The PTE bolt on housings are rated at just a hair under a t3 .48 A/R... Thats why so many people go t3 flange exhaust side if they are looking for the most horsepower on a cheap setup... A friend of mine went 9.90's @ 141 on the 3065 with a 75shot.. on a Dnp Mitsu flanged manifold... The fact remains though if you were to put that 3065 into a t3 .82 housing I'm sure you would pick up at least 20-30 ponies @ high boost... Larger housings although laggier, will produce less backpressure... I'm a fan of being right in the middle... my current setup is a T4 Divided/TS .70 for spoolup and medium/high topend...

But back to the topic... If you want to spend some $ then FP is a no bs solution for an easy bolt on application, If your running a little short on cash, and still want more flow a Turbonetics t3 cast iron or Nice Tubular t3 manifolds are pretty cheap now. with a .63 or .82 a/r exhaust will get you the times you are looking for...
