Today i got my talon dyno tuned by magnus motorsport 300hp to the wheels baby, that dude fron magnus Marco great dude recommend him anyday , my cars pulls like a bastard, and no fuel cut nice now am working to get it to 350hp thats my goal i think with hks cams and a magnus intake manifold should do the trick. what u guys think

I would recommend the cams but not the intake manifold unless you want your power shifted way up top. I am running the 264/272 cams and i am at 300 hp and 300 ft lbs. But I am only running the turbo at 16psi and still running rich with no timing tuning only the base map that came with the power FC.

You really won't see noticeable gains upgrading to a SMIM while still on the e3b16g. The stock intake manifold is fine until you upgrade to a much larger turbo, and need the power gains up top.

I found a set of hks cams too, pretty good price. But it's probably ot of my range right now, but lmk and I can hook you up with them.

Btw, congrats on the 300hp mark!

Your post was kinda hard to read without any punctuation.

Regardless, congrats on the power. I be you could jerk some more out of it. I am assuming this is on pump gas? Ever thought about alcohol injection?

nah.. no IM... Just get the cams, and maybe a dump valve for the exhaust.. that will give you stupid power... its weird how it feels.. Alcy injection is the dope ish too... lots more power to be gained from that because of the resistance to knock... lots more boost...

when I had my 16G w/ 264/272 gears and a Magnus SMIM, it started losing breathe up top. I would also not recommend going with a SMIM unless you know that you are going to get a 50trim or larger down the road.

yea. What's your setup? I'm close to that mark on a very basic tune and if it's possible for me to get there without too much more I would like to be at that point Next weekend. Big track day is Huntsville for me and my buddies, and that should make for a good pull on the new car.
