I recommend shep. I enjoy my stage 3 so far but it has only had about 30 miles put on it. My dsm has been sitting since june due to lack of time or interest but still runs fine, not broken.

I have a John Shepherd stage 4 transmission and would recommend them in a minute. I would suggest trying to buy a used 93 transmission........the '90 transmissions were less reliable than the 93 transmissions........trust me....I had one and upgraded to the newer technology

I just ordered mine form sheptrans.com. They seem to be the way to go. I don't know for sure but it seems you might have to spend a little more then a thousand dollars to get a little performance. Maybe not...good luck, man!

just got the results back from the tranny shop and the guy said that the gears are screwed, he wants 1350 to fix it. would a shep stage 1 fix it or would i be better off buying a brand new tranny??? thx
