I'm currently building a 4g63 turbo motor and noticed that the throttle body is hacked/modified. There is a knob/piece of the throttle body that has been cut off (by what looks like a hacksaw) on the back side where the throttle cable attaches to the throttle linkage/plate that is supposed to stop the throttle from being opened up further. So now by hand you can open up the throttle plate past the point where it is supposed to stop it. Should I replace this throttle body or do you think it is going to work ok?? If this doesn't make sense I will try to attach some pictures tonight. Thanks-

Replace it, without the throttle stop, your throttle plate will rotate beyond the horizontal position and actually decrease flow under WOT.

Exactly - that's exactly what I was worried about. Thanks for your advise - Any recommendations for finding a new part?
