My friends and I are building a $2007 Challenge Car and have been doing a bunch of junkyarding lately...since we don't have the funds in the budget for a nice new Walbro or supra pump we were wondering if we got say any pump and wired it up with a remote mount and rerouting of the fuel lines woudl we be able to run it?

We were thinking of say a nice v6/v8 truck pump would have enough flow to fit our needs...

Whats your opinions on something like this?

Also same goes for injectors...what types of higher flow injectors might also fit our DSM

it's a 1G Talon AWD Turbo...

Thanks in advance for your input...

i know that the evo injectors and fuel pumps are an upgrade from the stock setups. and evo pumps can be had fairly cheap on the trader forum.
aside from evo injectors the only other ones i know of that will work are the low impedance (sp.) injectors from the 84- 87 mazda rx7's with the square plug.

There was a recent thread about how those RX7 injectors are 680's. They were on the non-turbo versions of those years.

84-85 13B non turbo low imp. 680cc orange top
86-87 13B non turbo low imp. 460cc red top
86-87 13B turbo low imp. 550cc tan top

this is the info i got from the thread i saw.
hope this helps
